JA BizTown Elkhart Volunteer Training

JA ENGAGE REGISTRATION & REQUIRED VOLUNTEER PAPERWORK
Using a unique URL provided by your school, you will access the JA Engage website and register for the experience. If you have any difficulty with the JA Engage registration, you will be able to complete this step at JA at check-in on the simulation day.

As you arrive at JA for the simulation, you will be asked to complete the JA Volunteer Conduct Standards, Media Policy, and Media Release & Consent policies. This required paperwork must be collected from volunteers annually.

ORIENTATION: ON-SITE

Participate in an on-site volunteer orientation session on the simulation day. Orientation begins promptly one hour before the students arrive. You will learn how your assigned student-run business operates and what your role will be during the simulation.

NOTE: Your school district may also have background check requirements in place that are not affected by the above requirements.
