The Event Manager role for the North Central Unit is a full-time, hybrid, primarily work from home position that plays a dual role in fundraising and event logistics. The North Central Unit events would encompass support for Elkhart, LaPorte, Marshall, and Starke Counties and would consist of approximately 7-8 events throughout the year. This individual will assist in event planning and implementation in North Central Unit and also support cultivating strong community partnerships throughout the North Central Unit. The position reports to the Development Director of the North Central Unit and also works collaboratively with the Senior Program Manager, Development Directors in respective counties, and program team to ensure quality service to schools, volunteers, donors, and the board of directors. Training will take place in Fort Wayne and Elkhart.
