JA BizTown Elkhart Volunteer Training

JA BizTown will be a rewarding way for you to volunteer a few hours of your time. It is operated by Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana, which serves over 150,000 students of all ages across the region through in-school lessons and special experiences like JA BizTown.

In order to have a successful day at JA BizTown, we need one or two volunteers per business to work with each small group of students. To prepare you for this experience, we ask you to complete these four steps:
1. Using information provided by your child’s teacher, sign up as a volunteer using the Engage website. If the school did not provide this information, please skip to step #2.
2. Submit the Acknowledgement of Volunteer Policies. The link can be found below.
3. Watch a series of three short online training videos, found on this page.
4. Attend an onsite training 1 hour prior to student arrival on the day of the simulation. You will learn how your assigned student-run business operates and what your role will be during the simulation.
